Toilet paper roll animals

August 10, 2014 by Gosia

Toilet paper roll animals are great and inexpensive activity you can do with your kids almost any time and anywhere. You can make them at home during hot summer days, or in winter when it is too cold to go outside. You can also make them during holidays, when traveling. You don’t need to have sophisticated suppliers and you can always replace the colored paper with the white sheet on which you can draw using markers. Here below, just a few examples, be inspired by them and make your own creations! Toilet paper roll animal crafts

What you need

  • toilet paper rolls
  • colored paper
  • markers
  • glue
  • scissors

How to make it

Step1 We have used ready to make design to make our toilet paper roll animals, but you can very easily make your own. You just need to cut different shapes in different colors from colored paper. You can be inspired by what we have done or make your own, it is really easy! You can also use markers to draw the shapes you need.

Step2 For each animal, you need to prepare its head and ears, its body, its legs, its arms or wings and also its tail, if necessary. Then, glue all these pieces to the toilet paper roll to make your animal. So simple!   Toilet paper roll animal crafts step6 Toilet paper roll animal crafts step5 Toilet paper roll animal crafts step4 Toilet paper roll animal crafts step3

Step3 As you can see, we did (or rather my daughter did) an owl, a rabbit, a zebra and a fox. She loved them all and wanted to make even more! Enjoy!Toilet paper roll animal crafts step7
