We have made these stuffed eggplant boats inspired by all the amazing sailing boats we have seen last weekend. It was the first time my daughter has seen a big port full of all kind of boats. She was really impressed and was talking about sailing on our way back home…

One of my daughter’s favorite soup is homemade tomato soup that I always make from fresh tomatoes. This time, I have added some funny cheesy letters to her soup bowl and made it with ABC pasta. She had a lot of fun fishing all the letters with her spoon:)

Raclette is one of my favorite winter easy party food. My daughter loves it too, so I wanted to share it with you, in case you don’t know it and if you are looking for simple and great food for both adults and kids.
If you like cheese and you don’t want to spend hours cooking to prepare party meals, then you will love it! Preparation time is really minimal, it is simple and easy and you can spend your time enjoying eating and chatting with friends or family at the table.

Last weekend we welcomed autumn and when I was doing my grocery shopping, pumpkins were all over the place. I let my daughter pick one and told her we would be making some pancakes. She loved the idea! When I asked her what kind of cute presentation of this meal she wanted, she said: a snake! Of course, this couldn’t be more simple:) So here it is, our funny snake made of a pumpkin pancake wrap, stuffed with smoked salmon, spinach and ricotta. Yum!

This year my parents have grown giant zucchini in their garden! They were really huge. The biggest we picked up so far, was around 35cm/14inches long and weighed over 2kg/70ounces. This meal is brought to you by MY Daughter! She did the meatballs almost all on her own. It actually worked great, as it was a perfect size for her little hands. She had a lot of fun and was very proud she could make all that! She also helped with the zucchini mousse and the final meal presentation, making a cute forest with mushrooms:)

I like homemade gnocchi and I often make a bit more that I freeze for another time. I usually serve them with different mixed veggies, as my daughter likes them that way. This zebra is an example of a very easy recipe, just presented differently :) My daughter loved it; hope your kids will love it too!

I love quiche, especially during summer time. I like to experiment with different ingredients and shapes. It is a really great meal you can eat hot or cold, at home or take it with you for a picnic. I usually make a quiche with a pastry bottom, but this time it comes crustless, just with mushrooms but in very summery shapes!
