If you are looking for an idea to make an easy and healthy breakfast for kids then you may like our snowflake shaped sandwich!
We made it recently, inspired by the weather outside. We’ve already had a few snowstorms this winter and a lot of snow, so my daughter played a lot in the snow. She was amazed by the shapes of snowflakes when it was snowing, so one day…
Raclette is one of my favorite winter easy party food. My daughter loves it too, so I wanted to share it with you, in case you don’t know it and if you are looking for simple and great food for both adults and kids.
If you like cheese and you don’t want to spend hours cooking to prepare party meals, then you will love it! Preparation time is really minimal, it is simple and easy and you can spend your time enjoying eating and chatting with friends or family at the table.
I must admit that the eggplant is not my daughter’s favorite vegetable. In fact, she doesn’t like how it looks (!), so I am always trying to find new and creative ways to sneak it in her menu…
Are you already in a Halloween mood? Have you planned your Halloween party yet? If you are still looking for Halloween food ideas, then I have something for you:)
Recently, I’ve made this cute witch flying on a broomstick, surrounded by cheesy ghosts. It was a try out before our Halloween party, inspired by a game my daughter has played at school.
Last weekend we welcomed autumn and when I was doing my grocery shopping, pumpkins were all over the place. I let my daughter pick one and told her we would be making some pancakes. She loved the idea! When I asked her what kind of cute presentation of this meal she wanted, she said: a snake! Of course, this couldn’t be more simple:) So here it is, our funny snake made of a pumpkin pancake wrap, stuffed with smoked salmon, spinach and ricotta. Yum!
The inspiration for this cute tulip sandwich came from the Ottawa Tulip Festival, that we went to see last weekend. We saw millions of tulips in all the different colors and varieties. They were really gorgeous!
Being in spring mood, having seen all these beautiful flowers, no wonder we had tulips in mind when preparing lunch:)
