Spring or not yet spring? In theory spring is already there, but there is still some melting snow outside… Yesterday, when my daughter came back from school, she noticed that there is a tiny, little flower that started to grow in our garden, in front of the house. She was so happy and excited that she started to talk to it. Back home, she talked a lot about flowers, so I asked her to imagine how this flower she saw in the garden would look like once grown. Then she drew a beautiful, red flower in the grass, under the sun. This drawing has inspired me to make her a cute strawberry flower for dessert. It is the easiest recipe ever – just yogurt and fresh fruits, healthy and so yummy. My daughter loved it!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of natural or vanilla yogurt
- 3 strawberries
- 2 grapes
- 5 blueberries
Preparation
Step1 Cut each strawberry into slices:
Step2 Spread the yogurt on the plate where you will make the flower:
Step3 Place strawberry slices onto the yogurt, making a circle that will form the flower. Place blueberries inside to make the flower center. Cut the grapes in half and use them to make the flower stem. I peeled them off, as my daughter doesn’t like grape skin…
