This year, we decided to register our daughter for skiing lessons. She was really happy to hear that and very impatient to start once she got all the ski equipment. I was a bit worried to leave her all alone for the first lesson, imagining her falling down and crying… But, to my biggest surprise, she did great! After only 3 lessons she was able to follow me on a green slop, all by herself! She was making nice turns and was able to stop when needed. I was really astonished and very proud of her! Back home, I made her this cute little skiing kiddie for dessert. She loved it and said that the hill was a bit small, she preferred bigger ones!
Ingredients
- 3-4 strawberries
- 2 blueberries
- 2 grapes: 1 small green and 1 big red
- 1 slice of dried mango
- 1 slice of apple
- 1 strawberry biscuit stick
- 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt
- 3-4 toothpicks
Preparation
Step1 Cut a slim slice of mango, make a knot with it and place it on a strawberry. That will make a scarf. Cut a shape of a helmet from the red grape, as shown on a picture. It will be placed on the green grape. Use the second strawberry to cut 4 rectangle shapes to be used for the legs and the arms. Cut two stripes from the apple to be used as skis.
Step3 Mount all the pieces of the kiddie together using toothpicks – start with the strawberry as the body and the grapes for the head and the helmet. Connect the legs and arms. Use blueberries for the boots and mount them on the apple slices, so the skis are ready. Cut the biscuit stick in half and place under arms to make ski sticks. Adjust the length if needed. Warn the child before the consumption that there is a toothpick inside!
