My daughter goes to French school and she has just started her English classes. She seems to like it, but can not recall a lot of things she did there, not talking about the words she learnt, hum… Perhaps it will come, guess I just need to be patient. However, one thing she learnt was a song “Twinkle, twinkle, little star…”. She was singing it with her cute, little accent, so adorable. So I made her this cold kind of cheesecake with a little jello star on top. She loved it! And I had a chance to listen to “Twinkle, twinkle, little star…” one more time :)
Ingredients
- 2-3 cookies
- 4-5 tablespoons of white cheese
- 3-4 tablespoons of jelly (you may need to adjust the quantity of jelly depending on the brand you have bought – refer to the preparation instruction on the package you have)
Preparation
Step2 Remove all the liquid from the cheese, if there are any. Mix the cheese in a mixer or use a blender, until it gets smooth and has a mousse texture. Pour around 1/3 of the jelly into a dish or mould. The jelly surface should be big enough to cut 4 stars. A dd the rest of the jelly to the cheese and stir. Refrigerate for about 1h or until set – follow the instructions on a jelly package you bought. To remove the jelly from the dish/mould, place it in a big bowl filled with warm water for few seconds. Turn the jelly dish/mould onto a plate. Shake quickly and sharply, the jelly should release.
No bake mini cheesecakes with jelly stars
