I Love Mom – simple dessert idea

We had a triple party this weekend: my daughter’s birthday, my birthday and Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day is celebrated in France on the last weekend of May, so its date varies from one year to another. We did celebrate it on the 25th of May also 6 years ago, when my daughter was born; so this year was kind of special, full of memories from that day.

My daughter’s birthday party this year had “My Little Pony” theme (she is really into “My Little Pony” nowadays), so I made her a special birthday cake, which she loved. If you want to find out how to make it, stay tuned, it is coming soon!

Busy with the preparation for “My little pony” themed birthday party, we still managed to make this cute “I love Mom” dessert. It is so simple that every kid can make it, you can just help with the fruits preparation.

Step1 Make an “I” letter with blackberries. Cut the strawberries into thin slices and place them on the plate shaping a heart. Then make a “M” letter with blueberries, just placing them directly onto the plate. Use one slice of orange to make a heart. Enjoy!
