Hot, hot, hot… But I will not complain, I think I prefer this than -45C/-113F we had this winter. When it is so hot outside, I prefer not to cook hot meals during the day to avoid additional few degrees coming from the oven. So today we had made delicious tortilla wraps for lunch. My daughter loves rolled tortilla wraps and she likes almost everything I would put inside it. This time however, we decided to make them a bit differently. As it was so hot outside, we rolled them up as ice cream cones. We put all the veggies and some chicken inside and topped it with swirled creamy cheese. Yummy!
Ingredients
- 1 tortilla
- 1 slice of cooked or grilled chicken breast
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 6 slices of cucumber
- few thin slices of pepper (can be different color)
- slices of avocado
- hummus (optional)
- creamy cheese (e.g. Philadelphia)
