Tic Tac Toe – ham and cheese snack

Preparation time:   | Servings: 1

Do you like play Tic-Tac-Toe? My daughter loves it! The great thing about it is that you can play it everywhere: not only with a pen and piece of paper, but you can also play it outside and then, just free your imagination! You can play in a playground using leaves and pebbles, on the sand, either drawing or if you are on the beach, you can use seashells of different shapes or colors. Possibilities are endless. Recently we came with an idea to try Tic-Tac-Toe game on our plate. Here it is, cute and funny Tic-Tac-Toe snack. It is very easy to make, just place some biscuit sticks and cut different shapes of flowers from ham and cheese. You can then place everything on the plate, while playing Tic-Tac-Toe, you can also play it backwards, when eating the snack. Lots of fun! Ingredients

  • 4 biscuit sticks
  • 1 slice of ham
  • 1 slice of orange cheese (I have used Kraft Cracker Barrel Cheddar Sliced Cheese)
  • yellow cheese

Did you know that an early variant of Tic-Tac-Toe was already played in the Roman Empire, around the first century BC?

Preparation

Step1 Use a flower and tulip shaped cookie cutters (or a knife if you don't have them) to prepare 5 flowers from ham and 4 tulips from the orange cheese. Cut 5 small dots from the yellow cheese - use a knife of a straw. Place one dot onto each flower made from ham. Tic Tac Toe snack for kids step1

Step2 Place biscuits sticks on the plate to make a Tic-Tac-Toe grid. Place ham flowers and cheese tulips inside. Who is the winner? :) Enjoy! Tic Tac Toe snack for kids step2
