My daughter is 5 years old and she loves to pick on her own the hair accessories so it matches with what she wears. Sometimes it is so fun to watch her deciding:) Recently she told me she had nothing special to wear for Valentine’s Day, and she wanted something with a heart (of course!).
So when I saw cute little fabric hearts at the craft store, I thought that they would be just perfect to make a red heart flower to decorate a headband. I got also a heart shaped buttons and a heart shaped pearl sticker to finish it nicely. I think it worked out pretty well and my daughter was in heaven when she saw the final result. She really loved it! 
What you need
- 1 headband
- 5 fabric hearts (could be felt as well)
- 1 heart shaped button
- 1 heart shaped pearl sticker
- thread & needle
How to make it
Step1 Attach the centers of all hearts using a thread. When done, just pull it together, adjust the position of all hearts and stitch well, so it won’t move.
Step2 Stitch a heart shaped button in the center of the flower. If you use a headband covered with fabric, don’t cut the thread, use it to attach the flower to the headband. If you have a plastic headband, glue the flower to it.
Step3 Place a heart shaped pearl sticker in the middle of the button to hide the thread. Enjoy!
