Last weekend we welcomed autumn and when I was doing my grocery shopping, pumpkins were all over the place. I let my daughter pick one and told her we would be making some pancakes. She loved the idea! When I asked her what kind of cute presentation of this meal she wanted, she said: a snake! Of course, this couldn’t be more simple:) So here it is, our funny snake made of a pumpkin pancake wrap, stuffed with smoked salmon, spinach and ricotta. Yum!
During our holidays this year, we happened to see a lot of swans. Both white ones and black. They were really gorgeous. One day, we were at the lake admiring the sun preparing to sunset. We spotted a swan family with two little ones…
I like homemade gnocchi and I often make a bit more that I freeze for another time. I usually serve them with different mixed veggies, as my daughter likes them that way. This zebra is an example of a very easy recipe, just presented differently :) My daughter loved it; hope your kids will love it too!
I started sailing when I was still at school, first on the lake, then on the sea. I love this feeling of the wing blowing into your face, the sails over your head and the water splashing around. My daughter loves smoked salmon and I love sailing, so we decided to make these cute sailing boats!
