My daughter said recently: “Mom, why won’t we make a turkey with all the fruits you have just bought! You can then put it on your blog”. I laughed for quite a while and then I told her that we would make it, of course. I let her chose the fruits. She wanted to arrange them in a rainbow, well, we were close:)
My daughter doesn’t like monsters, spooky and scary characters, she rather prefers princess’ stories or even real life documentaries. But, in this period of Halloween, she can hear all the kids around her talking ghosts, bats, witches etc. So I have decided to make her a ‘bats and ghosts’ dessert.
This ‘sunflower’ project started at my daughter’s school. All kids in her class discovered different kinds of seeds and learned how they grew. They were asked to select seeds they liked and then planted them in small plastic cups. This gardening adventure inspired me to make a little surprise for my daughter. One day I prepared a peach and blackberry sunflower for her dessert:)
A week ago, my daughter went on a school trip to the Agriculture Museum – the Farm. For some reason, her favorite animal this time was a cow. She saw different kinds of cows and was really curious why they had different colors…
